Milly Stephenson

Hello, I’m Milly Stephenson! I’m a student at Southern Methodist University majoring in Journalism and Fashion Media. I have gained experience in broadcasting by working on SMU-TV’s Daily Update, a student-run newscast where I have directed, technical directed, anchored, written, and produced packages. Outside of broadcast, I have experience writing news stories, covering everything from local news to feature stories.

Before attending SMU, I found my passion for journalism through my high school broadcast program, where I became the first-ever News Director. I organized students to create a weekly news video, interviewed students and teachers, wrote stories, and covered topical events for the school.

I have fluent experience working with AVID iNews, Sony NX5U cameras, DSLR photography, Adobe Premiere Pro, and Adobe Photoshop.
